Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using simpletimesheeet.eu ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

The Service is offered only to natural and legal persons acting in their professional capacity — freelancers, self-employed individuals (including authorised natural persons / P.F.A.), and businesses. The Service is not offered to consumers within the meaning of Art. 2(1) of Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights. By subscribing to or otherwise using the Service, you confirm you are acting in your professional capacity. The 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts does not apply to professional users.

2. Description of service

Simple Timesheeet is a time-tracking and timesheet management tool provided by PANCU DANIEL PERSOANĂ FIZICĂ AUTORIZATĂ, a Romanian authorised natural person (P.F.A.) registered with the Trade Register of the Iași Tribunal under no. F2025028391002, CUI 52275004. The Service allows users to log daily work hours, track public holidays and time off, and export monthly timesheet reports.

3. Account registration and responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
  • You may not create accounts on behalf of others without their explicit consent.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable law
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
  • Use automated tools to scrape or mass-download data from the Service
  • Transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content through the Service

5. Data ownership

You retain full ownership of your timesheet data. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over the content you create using the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

6. Termination

By you

You may delete your account at any time via Account Settings. Upon deletion, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we discontinue the Service. We will provide reasonable notice where possible, except where immediate action is required to protect the Service or other users.

7. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PANCU DANIEL PERSOANĂ FIZICĂ AUTORIZATĂ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data or loss of profits.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim (or €0 if the Service was provided free of charge). Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable mandatory law, including consumer protection rights where applicable.

User responsibility for data backup. You are solely responsible for maintaining independent copies of your timesheet data. The Service provides an export function (Account Settings → Download my data) for this purpose. We do not guarantee uninterrupted storage and accept no liability for data loss caused by your failure to export your data regularly.

Force majeure. We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, acts of war or terrorism, industrial disputes, power failures, failure of third-party infrastructure (including hosting providers, payment processors, and identity providers), cyberattacks, distributed denial-of-service attacks, ransomware or other malicious software attacks, or regulatory action. We will notify you as soon as practicable and take reasonable steps to mitigate the impact.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Romania, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under applicable European Union law.

9. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of a change constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
